Music Monday and The Stone Roses #Britpop

Feel like some Britpop for a few weeks? A subgenre of rock and pop music that originated in the United Kingdom, Britpop  emerged from the British music scene of the early 1990s. It was influenced by British guitar pop music of the 1960s and 1970s and indie rock from the 1980s.

Let’s start off with The Stone Roses and “Fool’s Gold.”

Have a great week,

eden

  1. Acid and PPP guitar! What a fun choice! They were a part of that whole Manchester thing in the late eighties, weren’t they?

I think I still have their 89 debut album.

Nice way to start a Monday! Cheers, Eden!

  3. I’d heard the music before, but I must have forgotten their name.
