Music Monday and Kurt Cobain

Kurt Cobain was best known as the lead singer, guitarist, and primary songwriter of Nirvana. “Smells Like Teen Spirit” was their biggest hit.

This is my final post for the Club of 27. Though there are many other wonderful musicians I’ve not included, these were some of my favorites—all who passed away at the age of 27.

Thanks for following this special series of Music Monday posts and remembering some great musicians gone too soon.

To recap, here were the artists covered:

Amy Winehouse | Brian Jones | Janis Joplin

Robert Johnson | Jim Morrison | Alan Wilson

Jimi Hendrix

Kurt Cobain died April 5, 1994.
