Music Monday — You Better You Bet by THE WHO

ASIP KWA Snake in Paradise is still in the TOP 20 since its release April 7th.

Thank you to everyone who has read and reviewed the book. I SO appreciate it!

The raw lyrics of The Who’s song “You Better You Bet” inspired a passage in my book. There was definitely some strange word association when I wrote the story! I’ve always loved the lyrics, so I hope you enjoy this blast from the past.

The novella is only available from AMAZON US, but if you don’t live in the USA and would like to read and review the book, leave a note in the comments and I’ll get a copy to you.

Have a wonderful week,

~ eden

” … You better you better you bet.
I call you on the telephone my voice too rough with cigarettes.
I sometimes feel I should just go home but I’m dealing with a memory
That never forgets
I love to hear you say my name especially when you say yes
I got your body right now on my mind but I drunk myself blind to the
Sound of old T-Rex
To the sound of old T-Rex – who’s next?

When I say I love you you say you better
You better you better you bet
When I say I need you you say you better
You better you better you bet
You better bet your life
Or love will cut you like a knife …”
