I’m very fond of Jemima Valentino, an erotica writer whom I met only a few months ago. She made an appearance on Inside the Author’s Mind back on Sept 16th, and as promised, she’s returned to talk about her latest release, The House on Hundred Hill.
I’m thrilled to offer up my space to showcase her book, so please welcome the lovely Jemima Valentino as she makes a stop here on her blog tour. Don’t miss her incredibly HAWT excerpt, and be sure to comment to be eligible to win one of her fabulous prizes!
The House on Hundred Hill: The Nephilim Book One – Blurb
Jessica Rylan has spent her entire life trying to fit in, despite feeling deep down that she doesn’t quite belong. A slave to passions that she doesn’t quite understand, she does her best to simply ignore her burgeoning sensuality. Little does Jessica realise that a seemingly chance encounter with the handsome Nate Black will turn her world upside down.
All it takes is one garden party invitation to pull her into an ancient struggle, one where she must place her trust in Nate and his mysterious brother Draven to survive. As Jessica becomes seduced by the ancient and mystical world of the Nephilim, she finally begins to understand her own dark desires. Because Draven Black is searching for something… Something only Jessica can provide.
“Strip,” said the familiar deep rich voice behind her. The door had opened and Jessica could have cried with relief. Slowly, without question, she removed her sandals and cardigan and slipped the flimsy summer dress down over her body, revealing her nakedness. She stood before Nate in her blue cotton panties and lowered her eyes to the floor.
“All of it, Jessica.” She hated the coolness in his voice and the hard look on his face as she slipped the panties down her thighs. Nate nodded and stood aside, allowing her to pass into the great hallway. Instinctively Jessica patted her thigh and the lioness padded softly in behind her.
The door slammed shut and with a flash of movement Nate grabbed her shoulders and spun her around. “Why didn’t you get in the god damn car,” he hissed, his mouth so close to her ear that she could feel his warm breath on her neck.
“Because this is where I need to be,” she replied softly, a ripple of anguish running over her cool skin as she felt his anger.
“You’re a damn fool Jessica, I offered you a way out yet here you still are.” He pulled her close and covered her mouth with his in a kiss so passionate and intense that it stole her breath. His tongue dived between her lips, forcing them apart. His hands squeezed her breasts and she yelped at the pain caused by his rough grip yet kissed him back with equal fervour. She wanted to bury herself under his skin, to taste every single part of him. She wanted him inside her with such desperation she could barely contain it.
“You can’t leave me, not again, not ever again,” he murmured as his tongue left her mouth and trailed wetly along her jawline and over the hollow of her neck. He lifted her so he didn’t have to bend and walked with her until her back was against the wall of the hallway.
“I won’t,” she breathed. “I belong here.”
Nate grabbed her thighs and wrapped them around his waist as he unbuttoned his pants, the weight of his body keeping her pressed against the wall. “You belong with me Lady Jessica. I haven’t stopped thinking about you since the moment I first looked into those beautiful eyes. I tried to help you, made it easy for you to leave so he couldn’t…”
Her eyes shot to his. The blackness burned with dark fire and she heard him growl. Jessica caught her lioness out of the corner of one eye. She was joined by her mate, and they stood proudly side by side. The large cat bowed her head in an offering of privacy and then vanished in to the air.
“Please,” Jessica hissed as she pushed her hips against him, needing his cock inside her more than she had ever needed anything in her life.
“Beg me,” Nate whispered.
“Please…fuck me,” her voice was a mere whisper as she felt Nate shudder against her with the force of his desire. And then suddenly with one swift movement, he was inside her.
Jessica groaned loudly and felt his hand clamp over her mouth.
“Silence,” he moaned into her ear as he thrust against her, forcing her higher against the wall until her body was moving in perfect rhythm with his. Jessica threw her head back and it was prevented from slamming against the wall only by Nate grabbing a handful of her hair and burying her face in his neck.
He fucked her harder, his strong hands holding her wrists against her sides as his tongue and lips sucked her neck down to her collar bone. Jessica was lost in him, gripping him tighter between her thighs as her legs tangled themselves around his waist.
“Oh god, Nate…” she freed her wrists from his hands and wrapped them around him, drawing him closer, trying to melt inside his warm skin.
“Well isn’t this pleasant.” The voice felt as if it were an echo in her mind but it was enough to snap her head sideways to glimpse Draven leaning nonchalantly against the staircase at the end of the hall. “The wanderer returns, I see?”
Nate breathed deeply and kissed her neck before withdrawing from her body.
“Did she return of her own will?” Draven directed his question to his brother and Nate gently set her down on the floor, laying a protective arm around her shoulders. He threw Draven a stone cold look that should have cut him down where he stood. Jessica looked up and saw his jaw tense in irritation.
“Yes,” he responded simply.
“Then she is ready, bring her to me.”
Nate stood his ground. “Draven, she is not ready, she has only just stepped foot back in the house, she needs to rest.”
“Not from what I’ve just witnessed,” he snapped. “She looks positively energetic.”
