k.d. lang and Compassion Revisited

I had such wonderful response to k.d. lang’s version of “Crying” that I would be remiss not to include one more of hers which fits perfectly with Passion and Compassion month.

Several people mentioned her version of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah,” a song I actually cited in my very first post.

k.d. lang’s performance though … oh my god … her reverence for the song and Leonard Cohen at the end are awe-inspiring and had me in tears.

To tie this in with compassion, I’d like to refer you to two incredible pieces of writing. If you read nothing else today, please read these. They were recently written by my friend, author Les Floyd on the subject of compassion.

This post is dedicated to author, Go Go Rach, as she both moves toward her life’s passions and lets compassion into her life. ♥

  1. Dear Eden,

I am so, incredibly humbled by your post. Thank you so very much for all of your support. It is an honor to know you. I am so ready to finally HEAL. Here’s to compassion and K.D. Lang. Both are equally beautiful. Love and an epic HUG, my friend! xoxo
