Inside the Author’s Mind – Savannah Chase

The last Fabulous Femme for this month, but certainly not least is one of my favorite erotic romance writers – Savannah Chase. She is a multi-published author whom I met quite early on when I was fumbling my way through the social networks. I happened upon Savannah’s website and immediately felt a connection to her. Call it what you will—kismet, serendipity, or just my own good luck, but I feel very fortunate for whatever brought us together that day.

Savannah has an incredibly strong work ethic, and it comes as no surprise that she is a prolific writer because of it. I have learned so much just from seeing how she conducts her interviews, what she writes about on her blog, and how thoughtful she is with her readers. We have formed a close bond with one another as writers, but I’m also happy to say that I consider her my friend.

An avid supporter of other authors, Savannah more than deserves the spotlight just for herself, and I couldn’t be happier to offer it to her. Please give a very warm welcome to the seductive and gracious, Savannah Chase.

Enjoy,

Eden

Taste of Passion

Bakery owner Valentine Benington’s day just went from the best of her life to the worst. Toronto Tribune reviewer, David Fraser, shows up for a review just after a fire comes close to destroying her kitchen. After David’s last assignment, which ended with food poisoning, it’s not the best of starts, especially since the job is a last-minute thing. He doesn’t expect to run into a woman from his past. First looks can be deceiving. The food isn’t the only thing on the menu he’d like to taste. When these two get baking, the flames from the oven aren’t the only thing setting the kitchen on fire.

Inside Savannah Chase’s Mind

Which words or phrases do you most overuse? My friend recently told me I seem to say the word so a lot when we talk online. I don’t notice it really until she says something…

What turns you on creatively? Hot sexy naked hunks…Those will do it to me….and let me not forget music. It’s like a second addiction…My first is books and writing.

What is your idea of perfect happiness? A harem of hunks surrounding me as they answer my every call. Just kidding…Well maybe a little…LOL…I know a lot of authors might say this but honestly being able to write is my perfect happiness. Sometimes life kicks your butt and it is hard to sit down and express yourself. The words just won’t come out because you are either exhausted or have so much on your mind. When I write I can surround myself with the story I’m creating.

What quality do you most admire in a man? I admire when a man is honest and genuine….They’re real and not pretending to be something they’re not.

What quality do you most admire in a woman? Honesty and determination.

What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? I would love to be a music producer for a day. Getting to work in the studio with artists would be a dream.

If you could choose what to come back as, what would it be? Lara Croft….Yes I know that is a video game character but I’m a huge fan.She just kicks ass. If she were real that is who I’d want to come back as.

What do you consider your greatest achievement? Getting my work published. It hasn’t been an easy road to get here but all the hard work has paid off.

What is the trait you most deplore in others? When someone is fake and self centered.

What is your present state of mind? Hmmm let me check…I’ve let my mind go to all my characters…LOL

What is your favorite curse word? Fuck

What is your motto? It comes from one of my favorite quotes. “If you want to be successful: know, love and believe in what you’re doing. – Will Rogers”

Let me just say that I LOVE her character names from those blurbs.

    • India thank you so much for checking out my interview…Thank you…Names are something that come up first as I start to write the story. If there is no name I feel like the character has not come to life yet…

    Savannah,
This was a great interview. I’s so glad you kept on writing. Because you did look where you are now. We as readers are very fortunate to have you in the writing field. Oh and yes I like Lara Croft too. I may not have her body, but I sure can kick ass if I have to when it comes to my loved ones. Loved ones being my friends also.
So if you ever need some backup or anyone to take care of your trash just let me know. LOL
